Meet Olivia
Feeling stuck, depressed, anxious, disconnected from your body, and frustrated with yourself can be painful. I use somatic, relational, empowered and anti-oppressive approaches to support you in building the life you want. I work with individuals and couples experiencing issues related to traditional gender roles, grief and loss, sex and desire, and self image.
Partners may struggle with communication related to sex, life priorities, or unhelpful relationship dynamics. Individuals may wish to explore their sexual identity, process grief and loss, unpack past traumas or family patterns that cause distress in present relationships, create new expressions of masculinity or femininity, or learn how to prioritize pleasure.
I enjoy supporting individuals and couples as they navigate life transitions such as marriage/new partnership, divorce/separation, opening up, career changes, pregnancy, and empty nesting. I provide premarital therapy as a Prepare/Enrich facilitator for partners interested in this focus area as they prepare for marriage.
Olivia’s Specialties
Clients would describe me as collaborative and curious. I believe in celebration and compassion for all parts of self and an ability to grow, no matter our age. I strive to support my clients in exploring and acknowledging the intersections of mental wellbeing and the impact of societal structures using a social justice lens, and have experience with and welcome clients of all backgrounds and relationship styles, including LGBTQIA+ folks and non-traditional relationship structures.
When I’m not at work, you’ll find me reading, listening to podcasts and music, spending time with my loved ones, and exploring the outdoors.
